AUDITIONS will be held on Sunday 2 August at 3pm for the children’s roles in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Students over 8 years old attending 2 classes/week will be suitable to try for these roles.
COSTUMES At this stage all costumes this year are hired. There is no requirement for parents to make any costumes this year.Please note that costumes will be handed out on handed during the second week of Term 4.
COSTUME VOLUNTEER MEETING If you have volunteered or are able to volunteer, please come on Fri 28 August at 6.15pm
DRAMA PERFORMANCE Dance Central drama students will be presenting their own performance on Sunday 1 November at Dance Central. Junior and Inter drama - 11am and Senior and Secondary Drama - 1pm. We have decided to do this instead of including the drama students in the main performance at the Empire. We felt that they were not showcased as well as they deserved. There will be an extended rehearsal for this performance on Saturday 31 October.
R.A.D EXAMINATIONS ARE LOOMING!!! Please make sure that you are aware of your examination time. Notes have also been handed out about examination requirements (hair shoes etc). Good luck to all students who have worked hard to achieve their very best this year. I know that all your hard work will pay off!!
S.F.D EXAMINATION DATES HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED FOR THE 6 7 and 8 SEPTEMBER. Examination timetable will be placed on the noticeboard next week. Please ensure that you check your examination time.
SFD Examination preparation dates are set for the 15 and 16 August. Please make sure that you know when you are required.
TIMETABLE CHANGES are necessary for the examination days in term 3.
TICKETS FOR Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will go on sale at the Empire Theatre on Saturday 19 September. Be early to ensure that you get good seats are we came very close to selling both shows out last year.
VACATION SCHOOL was a great success and I would like to thank Miss Nolan and Miss Elissa for their fantastic work in preparing students for the upcoming exams.
